Hang With Jonathan Groff
Ever dreamed of having a conversation with Jonathan Groff? Well, on June 27 you could do so, thanks to New York City Center’s The Lobby Project. Groff, who will star in A New Brain for the venue, is just one of the big names tapped for the series of free pre-show events presented in conjunction with this year’s Encores! Off-Center series. Other notable names who will appear between June 24 and July 18 for The Lobby Project include Andrew Lippa and Sonya Tayeh.

Clyde Alves On Hiatus From On the Town
Yet another reason to visit The Muny this summer! We now have full casting for the previously reported production of Oklahoma! led by Beth Leavel as Aunt Eller. Clyde Alves will take leave from On the Town to play Will Parker, with Wicked fave Jenni Barber as Ado Annie, Alexander Gemignani as Jud Fry, Ben Davis as Curly, Christine Cornish Smith as Laurey and Nehal Joshi as Ali Hakim. The production will play August 10 through August 16, directed by Rob Ruggier and choreographed by Susan Stroman.

Jenna de Waal Teams Up With Justin Guarini for Tonys
Kinky Boots’ Jeanna de Waal will join the previously reported Justin Guarini and Deborah Cox in performing at the Tony Awards’ simulcast in Times Square this June 7. Guarini and Cox will duet on the classic numbers "I've Got Rhythm" and "On Broadway," while de Waal is set to sing the “History of Wrong Guys” from Kinky. The simulcast will take place rain or shine, from 4PM to 11PM on Duffy Square and the Broadway Plaza between 46th and 48th Streets. Seating is open to the public on a first-come, first served basis.

Emmy winner Charles Shaughnessy is currently treading the boards in Ever After at Paper Mill, and he stopped by The Today Show on June 4 to talk about the Cinderella inspired tuner—and why we should be bowing to him in real life!?! Check out the interview below then Shaughnessy, James Snyder, Margo Seibert and many more Broadway faves in the production in New Jersey!
